The surf industry’s version of product RED, this Surfrider initiative took seven competing brands in action sports and had them develop a co-branded product line where a part of the proceeds went to protect oceans and beaches worldwide.
We paddled out with project BLUE more than a year after their initial launch (far from ideal), but that didn’t stop us from securing a seven minute segment on Good Morning America, multiple placements on TreeHugger (here’s a great one with our friends from Reef) or other great features, including the nationally syndicated Gannett Newswire featuring Nixon, and local coverage in the Orange Country Register.
